Gibson Ek students and families are invited to join ParentWiser and the Gibson Ek PTSA at 5:30 p.m. on March 19 at Gibson Ek for a special evening event featuring student speaker Annaka King. Annaka will present her project on Invisible Disabilities.  In conjunction with the event, the Gibson Ek PTSA is bringing the  Lens of Youth: Misunderstood Moments  exhibit to Gibson Ek. Misunderstood Moments is an awareness program by  Lens of Youth . Maywood PTSA is organizing the annual South End  Thanksgiving Meal Drive  to support families in our school community who could use a little extra help this season. This program serves families of students at  Apollo, Briarwood, Maple Hills, Newcastle, Maywood,   Liberty  and  Gibson Ek.
