College Application Process and Transcripts

Join us at 6:30 on October 13th at the Commons at Gibson Ek High School for our General Membership Meeting. We will be hearing from our school counselor Shawn Mulanix about the college application process, how Gibson Ek does transcripts, and all things related. He'll do a brief presentation followed by a Q&A. 

PTSA Business and Votes

After Shawn's presentation, we will do a little business. The PTSA has been updating our Financial Management Tools and reviewing a few years' worth of budgets and our priorities for this year. Even though we *just* voted in a new budget in September, we're going to present to you a new reevaluated budget that meets our goals more closely. We'll be asking you to vote on that revised budget tonight. (Budget approved in Sept 2022 vs Budget to be voted on tonight.) You can also see review our September Financial Statement.

Depending on the time (we only have an hour for this meeting) we may also review and vote on updated Standing Rules for our PTSA. The changes are mostly clarifications and updates for online/zoom meeting rules -- important but not contentious. But we do want to make sure there is time for review.
